About The Library

The Pragayata Learning Resource Center at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya is a premier library designed to provide a comprehensive and enriching experience for all learners and researchers. Our library supports academic and professional pursuits with a vast array of resources and state-of-the-art facilities. We offer a print collection of 7,000 books spanning various disciplines and interests, along with 38 magazines and 5 newspapers to keep our readers informed. Our electronic resources include access to 215,000 e-books and 34 specialized e-databases, comprising 14 company databases, 11 e-journals, 3 research tools, 1 e-magazine, and 4 e-news databases.

Housed in a 20,000 square feet state-of-the-art facility, the Pragayata Learning Resource Center is equipped with cutting-edge technology to create a stimulating environment for research, learning, and exploration. Our infrastructure includes library automation with an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) and online book reservation systems, individual study pods, discussion rooms, a financial lab, and a Media Kart for multimedia access. We also provide remote access to resources, ensuring learning and research are not confined to physical boundaries, along with live chat support for immediate assistance.

Our library services are designed to enhance the user experience and provide comprehensive support, including circulation services, research assistance, daily news clippings and headlines, alerts about new arrivals, e-mail alert services, reference services, interlibrary loan services through DELNET/IIM Consortia, and various library outreach activities.
